Thank you for sharing this amazing piece of history with the world. Imagining being cut off from an artistic and creative outlet terrifies me. What must Edith have went through and where did she pull that strength from to go on surviving for so many years after being robbed of her freedom? A tale of how beautiful we have always been and how far we have come as women. Can you imagine trying to send Edith to an asylmn in 2015?
